Product Overview:
Celestone® Soluspan® (Betamethasone) is a potent corticosteroid formulation available as a 30mg/5mL Injectable MDV (Multi-Dose Vial). This medication is designed for intramuscular, intra-articular, or soft tissue injection and is primarily used to provide relief from severe inflammatory and allergic conditions. The dual-action formulation includes both betamethasone sodium phosphate (soluble and fast-acting) and betamethasone acetate (prolonged duration of action), ensuring both rapid and sustained therapeutic effects.
Key Features:
- Dual-Action Formula:
- Combines two forms of betamethasone: the soluble sodium phosphate for immediate onset and the insoluble acetate for a prolonged anti-inflammatory effect. This combination offers both immediate relief and long-term control of symptoms.
- Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that provides powerful anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects, making it highly effective for conditions that require a rapid reduction of inflammation and immune response.
- Can be administered via intramuscular injection for systemic effects, or directly into the affected joint, bursa, or soft tissue for localized anti-inflammatory action.
- Packaged in a sterile 5mL multi-dose vial, suitable for multiple administrations as prescribed, offering flexibility and convenience in various clinical settings.
Indications: Celestone® Soluspan® is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to:
- Severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.
- Chronic inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, and tenosynovitis.

Contraindications and Precautions:
