Detail
Product Description: Xylocaine® (Lidocaine) with Epinephrine 0.5% is a powerful local anesthetic solution that provides rapid onset and extended duration of anesthesia, making it an ideal choice for surgical, dental, and minor procedures requiring effective pain management. This formulation combines 0.5% lidocaine with epinephrine to not only block nerve signals in the targeted area but also to reduce bleeding by causing vasoconstriction, allowing for a clearer field and prolonged numbing effect.
Each 50 mL multi-dose vial (MDV) contains 0.5% lidocaine and epinephrine in an easy-to-use injectable solution, designed for multiple administrations as needed during procedures. The inclusion of epinephrine helps extend the anesthetic effect by slowing the absorption of lidocaine into the bloodstream, which allows for prolonged and targeted pain relief, reduces the risk of systemic toxicity, and minimizes local bleeding.
The Xylocaine® injectable solution is highly effective in achieving local anesthesia in minor and intermediate procedures, particularly in soft tissue and mucosal surgeries, as well as for pain management during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Its sterile and non-pyrogenic formulation ensures safe use in a range of clinical settings.
